Citizens residing outside the European Union, can ask for VAT refund provided that the order has been delivered within the Spanish territory, or removed at or buy at our stores.
You have to:
1)Place an order in www.santacecilia.es, or in any of our stores, and request your invoice with all your data, including address and passport number, indicating in comments "Request Tax Free". (It is important to indicate in comments "Request Tax Free" and send 2 copies of invoice, the refund application form and envelope VAT).
Refunds will be made as follows:
Card Payment → Return to Card
Cash Payment → Return by transfer to a bank account. To accounts in Spain the commission is in charge of Bodega Santa Cecilia, for foreign accounts the commission is pay by the customer.
PayPal → Return by transfer to a bank account. To accounts in Spain the commission is in charge of Bodega Santa Cecilia, for foreign accounts the commission is pay by the customer.
2) Later at the airport ask the customs authorities, before checking the baggage, that sealed the bill, certifying that the purchase is dating Spanish territory. The tax relief offices Madrid-Barajas airport are in T1 and T4 (T1, first floor, with 200 check-in counters and T4, second floor, next to security).
3) Once stamped, introduced the bill in an envelope and sends by mail the invoice with the original seal to our address in Blasco de Garay, 74, to proceed to a VAT refund.
